Ive been internet-less for 8 weeks now and am waiting for my Orange wireless modem to take effect...I've tried searching for it but its not there but low and behold if I sit in the car onn the drive with a coffee I can surf to my hearts content!!!!

You should be able to conect to the livebox regardless of the broadband being live or not. You probably connected to next doors system!
