Front stand for fork removal?

Want to get the forks out and send them off for a revalve/service, but haven't got a front stand that'll allow me to do it!

What stands are you guys using that allow you to disassemble the front end?

I use a Harris under yoke stand. Adapters are customed to suit differnt bikes. Great quality bit of kit.

Don't think my 996 has the hole in the bottom yoke.

I made a copy of the ducati engine stand. This will support the wseight of the bike enough to do what you want with the front in the air.

Your right,it doesnt. Some stand manufacturers make a specific adaptor that cradles the bottom yolk.Ducati sell their own stand Part No 967039AAA.
Im too tight to pay for one that I will only use rarely,so a short piece of tube that fits the frame, welded to a piece of box section and a pair of axel stands.Lift the front using under fork leg stand.
