An idea...DD posting amnesty until the 18th Nov?
 

this really is all getting too stupid for words.........

its an extreme measure but its got to the stage where i think its needed.

can we call a halt on ALL DD related posts until after the nov 18th meeting unless it is purely of a 'info or advice' nature.

also how about an amnesty?

forget what happened; who did what to whome; reinstate all banned/moderated members; halt all 'investigations'; wipe the slate clean; have the meeting; let everyone air their views; improve the series and move on.

it really would be the adult thing to do on all sides. EVERYONE genuinely interested in making DD better surely would agree this makes sense?

i am fully aware this is tantamount to sensorship, BUT if the majority agree its a good idea i dont see why it cant work.

Gets my vote too. It's got just too childish and at times plain nasty, none of the main posters is prepared to back down or compromise, and several are stirring things up every chance they get. There may well be some valid points raised, but they're completely lost in the back biting and drivel.

Well i'm lost on all this dd stuff n e way... and i usually skip all the DD GUMPH anyway,

I thought this site was used to inform/help people.... and that was it, as well as the main thing....HAVIN A LAFF!!

I understand everyone has their right to their own opinion, or that things could be done better a slighty different way but C'MON!!, we are all adults, so lets start to set an example, and show everyone on the inside or the outside of DD that we ....WE... can all get along, and if there is a point to be raised, it will be raised down the proper avenue's(the meeting being 1!)

I on the other hand am not going to the meeting, as i believe i'm not in any position to attend because i've mot been a member long enough.

BUT.... I trust it's not just gonna be a WITCH HUNT!!, and myself and all the other racers will be able to enjoy a fab 2007 season!!!

It would seem from the 95% “Yes” vote that there is only one side of this bargain.
