Seems a bit strange?! That bike is looking sexier each time I see the photos! |
Heat plate over the exhaust valve looks a bit big. I`m sure theres a DP carbon one for about £100. |
I don't like the lights, they make the bike look like it's got bags under it's eyes, maybe they could have blended the cirlces into it's holes a bit smoother (I know it copies the RR). I think the exhausts should go to a point like the back end or the back end envelope the shape of them more. Would have preferred if the 2 pipes were either flat or a "V" in the opposite direction. They are the only small criticsms I could manage, I think it's way better than the 999 brigade, so well done Ducati! :D :D |

Can we see that in red please :D |
Erm I'm not sure, I love the birds eye view of it...tanks lovely. In true child stylee my lad says its an R6 with an MV back end....Is it outstanding enough do you reckon? Will it capture the imagination of the Bike buying public? Has it been revolutionised enough? ???I think that £12- £20,000 might only attract a loyalist to the brand....??? |
looking at the body work alone i think that new 1098 shape should have replaced the 748/998 and then the 749/999 bodywork should be on this bike - its as tho the designers have taken a step back in time-the body work shapes of the three models in order of 998-1098-999 you can see a definite progression of styling-just my opinion for what its worth |
Have a look at this shot of the brand new R1 from front on, I reckon the air intakes at the front are similar to the 1098: ![]() |
