Very late Cadwell on board vid clip

Just put a straight clip, no music etc of one of the sessions from the DSC track day at Cadwell earlier this year, think it was one of the monday sessions. Even included the embarrasing missed gears comin down the box going into Park Corner.:( .

Many thanks again to my brother Paul (Bionicle) for the use of his 996 track bike, cheers bro:)

Yep it was the monday session, as there is no cement powder from the top of mountain where you dumped oil on the tuesday :0

twpd 11-Nov-2006 17:19

Interesting lines ;)

clint 999R 12-Nov-2006 09:12

if you have had one of thos ugly 999s you wouldnt have mised all thos apexes and been a bit faster

twpd 12-Nov-2006 09:46

Aye. Faster into the scenery. No faster of better around the circuit though ;)

Would you like to see a video clip of my 800ss minitwin racer teaching a 999s something about corner speed and stopping distances ;)

clint 999R 12-Nov-2006 10:46

your mising the point i can see off plently of 999s r1 gsxr on my little 65bhp rs250 its about the same person on a different bike i mean better bike

twpd 12-Nov-2006 10:52

You're missing the point. It isn't better. It's gay user-friendly bike for those who can't handle a proper man's bike. :)

clint 999R 12-Nov-2006 11:18

999r gay user friendly suppose thats one way of admitting to progress think i better leave it there

keefer 12-Nov-2006 11:23

anyone who thinks a standard set 999 is better for the track is having a laugh
the first thing racers do is jack them up and put the weight over the front
which negates all the "o its such a more comfy bike than the 916" argument
a 998 is as fast as any 999 as Frankie demonstrated to great affect

nice vid by the way

Bionicle 12-Nov-2006 14:01

All i am going to say is i put the 999R back on the road and bought a 996 for the track, i think that sais enough.

twpd 12-Nov-2006 14:04

:)

I likes the old stuff.
