2007 Ducati Hypermotard 1100
The Hypermotard is on all systems go now and will be launched as a 2007 model. Ducati have indeed added the most powerful air-cooled engine in the DS range. The 1100 engine was first seen on the recently launched Multistrada 1100 model and now also in the Hypermotard. Since the last time we spoke about the Hypermotard it have received an extra front brake disc and 100 extra cc. That the Hypermotard would get the 1100 was expected as it can only benefit from more torque and power. The DS 1100 is Ducati's latest air-cooled V-twin and Ducati claims they will get more than 95bhp from the engine in the Hypermotard. Torque released from the 1078cc twin is a claimed 103Nm @4750rpm. Dry weight 180kg, seat height: 845mm, Fuel tank 11,5 litres and the Hypermotard gets a six speed gearbox. Ducati will also show us the Hypermotard S with the best components for superb handling. TS

It's a damn nuisance when one is vertically challanged!!! I would love so many bikes. MV Agusta F4, 996 to name two.

11.5ltr tank???? Must say when I saw the original pics that was my first reaction that the tank looks tiny, for hooning around which is what it's for you'll be looking at 60 miles I'm guessing not a lot is it? This was one of the reasons I didn't wait and jumped ship for the 950SM still too tall for you though C.
