That was a bit close

Nothing to do with the Dark visor as I rode all the way home with it in the up postition, but a few miles up the road from the pub I turned left and crossed the bridge over the M40 motorway when all of a suuden a on-coming car turned across the front of me, causing me to brake quite sharply, I know he was indicating right but the last thing I expected was him to turn and try and go down the exit ramp of the motorway, he was lucky he didn't have a head on with a car coming up the ramp off the motorway. To make things worse his friend that was following him also tried to do the same but at least he stopped and waited for me to pass.
There are some right numptys out there

Very constructive
and so it should be as what was intended to be a 2hr meeting ran to around 5hrs in the end, which will make quite a few people late home.
But in that time a lot was covered and hopefully we can now move forward in the hope that 2007 will build on thje lessons of the last two years.
Sadly it doesn't look as if we will have a round at Pembrey in 2007.
CB has a provisional calender but its months before the first race meeting of 2007 so its quite likely to change before then

This is def my pet hate,we call them C.L.O.C's round here(center lane owners club)
What is the point of expanding the M25 and others if every one drives in the outside or outside but one lane............................

Rant over

Because what you are forgetting is that in Oxfordshire there are a huge number of BMW's, Mercedes and Volvo 4x4's. In the handbook it says "for safe driving keep to the right hand lane at all times". Nobody has told the people that drive them that the handbook hasn't been translated from the left hand drive version.

For the two plonkers the outside lane wasn't good enough, they wanted to be on the otherside of the centre barrier, maybe they were left hand drive cars, and as its Oxfordshire I wonder if they had Polish plates

I dont live in Oxfordshire but drive through it reguarly in my BMW up and down the A34, IMHO the problem is usually a lorry doing 0.001 mph more than the six he is overtaking or a shed on wheels, rarely a BMW ! Usually I seem to be at the back of the queue waiting impatientlty but others cannot hear my ramblings on.

I did see a plonker in a Clio or small citroen get off the A34 down the slip road to M40 North and at the bottom of the ramp turn right into the oncoming traffic, if i could i would have closed my eyes from the expected carnage somehow everyone got round him whilst he parked it facing the wrong way on the central reservation.

Watch out watch out theres a numpty about

A34 north of Newbury is terrible for Lorry's with the 0.1mph faster syndrome. I do that route twice a day and they are a nightmare for it.

(Unfortunately there is no self-deprication smiley on the message board so you wouldn't know I'm taking the p.. out of myself)
