Please be aware, my Ducati 996r was stolen from Robsom Racing along with several other bikes.

bradders 20-Nov-2006 17:08

how awful...lets hope the theiving scum are caught!!

Ray 20-Nov-2006 17:22

Not good.

Post up the reg number , frame and engine numbers, and any info. about anything that uniquely idenfies the bike or parts, spreading the word might help stop bits being flogged off or make the thieves think yer bike is too hot to handle.

Have ya posted this up in the stolen section as well.

Ray.

As you can see from pics, the old girl has distinctive green pinstriping on nose fairing and seat unit.
Not a happy bunny here.
Any help with her recovery would be greatly appreciated.

TP 20-Nov-2006 19:04

You poor bastid, I hope they find her for you!

khu996 20-Nov-2006 19:37

Gutted mate.

Does it have a numbered plaque? Might be one of the easiest ways to spot it!

Dibble 20-Nov-2006 20:44

Gutted, hope Robsoms are well insured, looks like they'll need to be.

chicken 20-Nov-2006 21:28

just sent you a PM Trev.

Florence 20-Nov-2006 21:49

B@*tards!!

How does your insurance stand with that then????? So is Robson Racing responsible for replacing???? Like for like????? What else went missing????:o

Trev996r 20-Nov-2006 21:56

Robsoms were virtually cleaned out, i beleive 6 bikes were stolen, 5 riceburners and my duke, all his tools clothing stock plus tyres etc, he is not a happy bunny either

BDG 21-Nov-2006 00:40

****ing *****

Redruth 21-Nov-2006 11:26

That's dreadful news. I hope you get her back in one piece, Trev.

Rick 24-Nov-2006 20:30

Sorry to hear that, hard to IMAGINE what you must feel right now. Hope something comes up soon.

Nigel C 24-Nov-2006 20:42

Might be worth (if you haven't already) posting a link to this thread on visordown the more coverage you can get the better

Jon 25-Nov-2006 01:12

I do feel for you Trev, I've been in the same position myself. it not very nice.
it must be even worse for Mike loosing so much stuff and having to face each and every customer with such grim news. this surely must have a knock on affect and Robson Racing being a fairly new business. 3-4 years. I hope things work out for the both of you

phoenix n max 25-Nov-2006 09:57

How awful for all concerned :( I know Mike and my bikes have overnighted in his workshop a times.
They must have been there a while and had a bloody big van to get all those bikes and his tools and clothing, spares etc in. Thats very worrying really.

Lets hope with it being such a big job that someone slips up and your bike and others can be recovered along with Mikes stuff.
