Well thats it...no racing for me in 2007..

:( Yepo...can't afford it at all,

Sorry i can't get to know you all better on and off the track, but thats just the way it's gonna have to be this year...

I'm gonna miss the entry deadline and!! have no guarentee that i'll be able to fund the season, let alone buy another bike!,

So i would like to say thanks for all you advice and banter these last couple of months, and i will come and see youu guys as my friend races in sound of thunder so, have a good clean enjoyable season folks!!

The Duke...sob,sob.

Simply start selling your duplicated organs on ebay.....

More than one of any body part is just plain greedy......, you can afford to drop a kidney, lung, the odd limb and perhaps a testicle.

HTH ;)

And this makes you different to any other club racer How??
You only need to enter one Round, then you will be hooked, After that money is irrelevant, Drug users hold down 9 to 5 jobs but they always have money for their fix... Racing is the same.
Hang on in there and never say never......
Glyn

Edited as couch sells drugs

AK 28-Nov-2006 14:04

why not ask chass/louigi if they still have a spare bike to borrow/rent?

Chass and Louigi certainly do have a 620 for rent. TheDukeDude, PM me if you want me to put you in touch with Chass (or just PM Chass!) even if it's just to discuss the options.

Cheers,

TP

Rent a bike?? and on a 620!! i'll be eaten alive!! sounds like fun!,

i've had alot of huge financial problems and started a new job so it's really more touch than go... i know wot you mean about all club racers...but i already have a £400 a month loan to content with let alone all the other stuff!!, but not moaning, i didn't have to take the loan, the things you do when your young(only 25 by the way lol).

So that idea sounds cool, would love to get in touch about it...might be able to scrape the entry fee's together...maybe?! but don't it have to be in for the 1st dec...£200 is alot of dosh with an empty account!! lol

Stupid question time maybe but.....(it never stopped me before)....

If most rounds get to have two races, would it be feasible for two pals to share a bike and one race each - eg share costs for the day?

or am I talking a load of testicles (please dont say - as usual ;) )

Frank

PS - demob happy as about to start 10 days holiday :)

I thought it was the 31st???? Not that it would make a diff by the sounds of things.

Anyway, I can't see the club turning away riders after 1st Jan, it's more to encourage peeps to sign up sooner rather than later (I think). Just helps with 'negotiations' etc.

Never say never ;)

Iconic944ss 28-Nov-2006 17:57

deadline = 1st Jan 2007

You only get 1 qualifying session per class.

So you couldn't share 1 bike for DD, but one mate could do DD and another could do Sound of Thunder or SV650 - as they have seperate qualifying sessions.

now that sounds do-able...never say never..tnx for that dom...

Rattler 28-Nov-2006 18:11

The deadline is 31st December for all entries, after that discretion of the RC applies to all entries - especially if you're not a member of the DSC before the 31dst Dec!!!

So as a minimum - get your DSC membership application in - a bargain!!

I popped in yesterday, so know a little about this.

Whoever does rent it - if it gets rented - will be potentially buying into far more than just DD.

The future isn't Orange, it's Thunderbikes (Ooh that is almost a poke at bird brain without reaslising it!!!)

Freudian?

Not really feasable, but there's nothing to stop the riders alternating meetings, that's how I satrted last year!
