Is it in the shops yet, tried to get it yesterday without any luck |

Me too...tried all the local newsagents and supermarkets with no luck. Still, be good when it does arrive |
Its one Horny Looking ****. |
I asked the wife to have a look in W.H.Smiths in Chichester, no luck there either. |
Picked mine up from a BP garage in Hull this morning, not had time to read it fully, but quickly scanned it & it looks good, plenty pics, history of the design etc, looks a good read. Chris:burn: |
Stood and read it in WH Smiths today - loads of pages, plenty of pics and a real in-depth feature about the creation of the bike. Well worth getting. |

Which Bike Hi, Noticed a review of the 1098 in which bike yesterday. Geoff |
Amazing level of info from bike and the cover is sweeetttt!!! Interesting that MCN got so many details wrong in thier test of the 's' this week, such as the price at at a grand less than it should be. Also I've had enough of this, 'oh it's £5K more than an R1', well look at the spec', Ohlins, superlight wheels, so don't campare apples to plums you numptys! |
MCN also says different colour rear cans for the S, is this correct? Simon |
Just got it, cant wait to get home and have a dump....:D |
They seem to like it never the less.............. |
As I posted yesterday, none other that John Hackett himself was grinning ear to ear and telling me 'it's the best bike I've ever ridden' and he has ridden loads. Dropped into the shop today to pick up the nose fairing for the twinspark project, John is still buzzing with the bike. He says if you think it looks good in the pictures wait until you see it in the metal-it will blow us all away. The way he tells it it has the stability of a 916/999 with the flickability and ease of direction change of his supermono-praise indeed, then you add in the best brakes ever on a road bike-better than some WSB bikes, and more power than you have ever had in a Ducati and I forsee long waiting list's. Now that's a considerate touch - the allen key baffle removal. That is listening to real world riders and making something for them. Nice one Ducati. I want an S! |
So do I. Having read the artical, they (the designers and people involved) are really giving the 999 a load of stick, unjustly sometimes... I personally dont think the 999 is that bad, after Troy won WSB 06 on it. The 1098 is a seriously sexy bike though...and the S is the one to have... |

Oh Keefy, you're such a stick in the mud with your antique 999! |

Way TOO much information... |
I managed to get hold of Bike mag after visiting 5 shops and it was the last one. Well worth getting, very informative and some great pictures from varying angles.......... I talking about Bike mag, not a mag from the "Top Shelf" :D P.S. It ain't me who bends the corners. :p  |
No matter this edition of Bike is definately Bike P0rn!!! |
