Lighten the mood

After all this chat about new clubs and where we will race I think it's time to get back to talking about bikes!!
So who is prepared to reveal how much their bikes weighed at snetterton??
Mine was 169kg but it is pretty standard at the moment and god knows how much fuel I had in it probably enough for three more races!!!!
Just interested as clearly my lack of pace is down to weight and NOT MY ABILITY

skidlids 06-Jun-2015 19:18

Mines a 160 ish if I recall correctly, but the turbo I have just added to it will probably push the weight up a bit, but will come in useful at Castle Combe in 3 weeks time :)

skidlids 06-Jun-2015 19:20

What I really want to know is Badger fitting a NON race winning Transponder and if so could it prevent him from ever winning again :p

Jacko748 06-Jun-2015 19:40

turbo or not that's still a load lighter than mine!! Add the fact I am a few pies in front and I can see the problem

milesaway 06-Jun-2015 20:07

mine was 157kg with just over 2L fuel so i got rid of battery in favour of a lego one so should be about 155.5kg now-

- if i get a good dump before race that makes bike and rider combined about 225kg- (75kg more than a moto3)

milesaway 06-Jun-2015 20:10

what are you entering at castle combe kev?

Jacko748 06-Jun-2015 20:32

I would need to run with one wheel and remove my legs to get down to that miles!!
12kgs is a lot to find and remove any ideas?

Campo 06-Jun-2015 22:12

Mine weighed 177kg

Miles I've entered Mini Twins at Combe, even if I couldn't get a entry I would have gone along to help my mates. I have done this a lot over the years if it hasn't clashed with our racing

Dunno if it is or not but I'll never forget it if it's glued on!

Badger weighed in at 164kg with around 4 litres of go juice on board.

mat2hew 12-Jun-2015 11:44

I've got to be a contender for the heaviest combination.

and about 50kg less than my combined weight. No wonder I can't slip stream you on the straights.
