New shiny bits.....

My 4S suffered the dreaded brake disc warp after the Ducati warranty expired.
The end result was the requirement for new front discs, so I've gone all Wavy!
They are starting to bed in & feel very nice indeed with more to come I think.
:D:D

...how much did you pay for these and where?

(if you don't mind me asking?)

Tim:frog:

Guido 20-Nov-2003 09:55

Now that's a first for me Andy...

Wavey's on a SS.

Lookin good mate..;)

rockhopper 20-Nov-2003 11:16

Hubba hubba!!!!

Dukerob 20-Nov-2003 14:08

very nice RJ, its just....well......you don't usually use yer brakes......

Rushjob 20-Nov-2003 16:41

Rattler - the shop I gotthe bike from replaced them ( begrudgingly ) under their warranty, I just put a bit extra to the cost to get these. I think they retai l@ £176 - Nelly could tell you for definite.

Guido - it's an ST4S, not an SS. An easy mistake to make as I missed out the pipe & slippers in the photo!

Rob, the reason I don't use the brakes is due to my sedate riding style....:P

kwikbitch 20-Nov-2003 21:19

How'd you get them 2 do that then RJ...did you pull up outside and visit them in uniform?
didn't do ote for me no matter how much I batted my eyelids!:P
PS Ooh, Ooh! suits you sir!!!:D

That could well be the reason you didn't get owt :P

Dukerob 20-Nov-2003 21:25

you should borrow RJ's uniform next time Lisa.......although that might get you more than wavy discs :P:lol:

kwikbitch 20-Nov-2003 21:26

rockhopper 20-Nov-2003 21:34

You're all missing the most important point here -

just look at the crud on that mudguard!!

nelly 20-Nov-2003 21:36

Strange that. You'd have thought with it being red the flys would be stuck over the back of the bike

kwikbitch 20-Nov-2003 21:36

Errr! Are they dead flies ?:o

Dukerob 20-Nov-2003 21:40

rockhopper 20-Nov-2003 21:42

Apparently you dont get flys stuck to yellow bikes. Well even flys have to draw the line somewhere:lol::lol:

Rushjob 20-Nov-2003 22:45

All of the flies in my fly collection have the most discerning taste.
They wouldn't be seen dead on a yellow bike!:lol:
Nelly - to get flies stuck to your bike, you have to actually get it out & ride it!:P

nelly 21-Nov-2003 08:14

LAH.....LAH.....LAH......LAH :P

kwikbitch 21-Nov-2003 23:41

Ahhh! Bless him! How do you expect him to get on his bike when he's fixin every one elses?

(I'll stick up for you Nell! No need to do the "I'm not listening" trick. Save that for the girlies!):frog::lol:

Aotearoa 22-Nov-2003 08:57

fatduke11111 22-Nov-2003 23:44

RJ -
V.Impressed - they look pretty neat...
where did you get 'em?

Rushjob 23-Nov-2003 00:44

You really don't want to go there... I wouldn't go there again to get air in my tyres!
Speak to Neil at Cornerspeed instead...I've just ordered a wavy rear from him.
:P
Andy
