fila Multistrada Just interested What do you think to this? |
Bet those Termi canons out the back sound good:devil: |
Could see myself pulling a few wheelies on it, looks like afun bike. |
Nah.... Doesn't do anything for me! But then I am one of those folks who thinks that even race rep superbikes are a bit too 'wannabee'. In idle moments I have thought for about a nanosecond about putting some sort of graphics on my ST but then thought very quickly "nah..why bother trying to make it something it's not". This 'strada begs the same question. They're fun bikes anyway so they don't need it. |
I'm with Jools on this one. I'm not a great lover of stickers and graphic kits anyway.Sorry folks! |
eeewww!! why a fila kit ??? can't remember hodgson et al ever caning a multistrada round monza :o |
Maybe not,but Troy and Loris appear to be having fun.:D |
that must be the new 2004 motogp bike then :P |
The sticker kit is Boggin, apologies to anyone one that liked it. In my humble opinion it spoils the lines of the bike. |
I'm with the majority on this one! It looks hellish! I've always thought that one of the things that sets Ducati's apart from all the Jap C**p is the total lack of or need to apply any 'go-faster' swoosh and swirl stickers. As has been stated already they spoil the look and lines of the MS, or indeed any of the Duke range in my opinion! You can't beat the appearance both in terms of style and class of an unblemished Duke... provided it's a red one of course! There, that's opened up that old colour debate! |
what about carbon belly pans and frame plugs and that sort of stuff LWH ..?? :sing: |
C'mon Dibble, you're havin' a larf! You can't put carbon bits and other 'performance' related elements in same class as 'stickers'! Least not in my book you can't! :P |
and the performance advantage you get from your frame plugs is ....?????? (I'm in a right sarky mood today ....) |
Dibble....duhhhh! Of course you get performance enhancement from frame plugs. By sealing off those cut tube ends you're eliminating those little vortices that are created when air travelling at speed passes over the open tube end. These vortices disrupt the air flow over bike and rider creating additional drag and thus reducing top speed. Furthermore at exceptionally high speeds these vortices can create lateral thrust which can induce gyroscopic eccentricity which to you and me means a 'wobble'. In extreme cases this can lead to the rider loosing control and falling off. I know it's happened to me before on track days but that was of course before I got frame plugs! It's so obvious I'm surprised I needed to explain that to you! So get out now and buy those plugs! |
