Wanted: ducati 749r cams
 

....Hi There everyone,....been several years since I've been on here,...dont suppose anyone has either new or perfect condition 749r cams. I've got some new ported heads that i'm building.

....ok, to be fair I didn't think I'd get much responce,...it probably not what a lot of people have laying around in a draw,..but Ive managed to get a set from abroad sent over....so I should have the complete heads, barrels and pistons for a project I'm going to start...

here are a few pics,...just cos we all like to see some engine porn.

...and a few more.All the titanium valves and rockers are new. The heads were ported and valves seats done by FW Developments.

For road or track? Could be an interesting build!

...Well, circumstances has changed somewhat since I started this project !....Lets just say the very nice gentelman that I was buying back (sale agreed, my old 749R with price agreed etc,etc)...decided to sell it to someone else whilst I was on holiday for a week, giving me some bullshit excuess.(a touch of sarcasm !)

So consequentaly, I now have no bike for the project and left with the parts,...so they probably will be going on ebay, unless someone wants to sell a 749r ???

Yes to put it mildly....

The bike was was immaculate, done about 8500 miles with fastidius service history and above all really well set up. It disapoints me that you lose faith in how people deal with you and treat you,..

...because Im sure someone else has came along and offered him £500 more, which is fair enough, but if you aggree a deal with someone,...stick to it..

anyway...if there is anyone out the with an immaculate 749r...please message me...or alternatively...there is a pair of NEW AND PORTED HEADS, BARRELS AND PISTIONS for sale !!!

oh, and the cams are on the UPS waggon to me !!

...finally got the 749r cams from europe...

so I have a set of new 3 angle prorted heads (FW Developments) with a complete set of new valves and rockers, cams,and barrels and new pistons/rongs/gudgeon pins.....but No bike !!

I rang JHP yesterday, the vales are £1040 for the complete set, the heads are....£2100 each !!...even the split collet set is £320 ...!!!gulp.

I will be selling this lot if anyone is interested.

....well,..in a bizzare turn of events...I've got back the 749r that I was supposed to be buying back a couple of months ago...so my project is back on track....heres a pic of the bike..

....so on the look out for a race exhaust if anybody's got one for sale ????....please contact me...thanks

....Well, I don't know if I'm having some good look or what,....I've just been offered a semi "kitted" 749R....

....So, this one i've just bought is.... going on Ebay tonight !!

This might be like buses, and another one will be put infront of me !!
