Fitting C/F Airbox & JHP Filters For those who are contemplating fitting a new airbox and the JHP undertank filters, here are a few piccy`s B4 I started to pull things off. |

This is the new C/F airbox with the JHP filter mounts installed. |

Almost worth leaving your tank off to look and stare...... When i did this, i re routed the rubber fuel pipe between the two inlet tracks, putting the T piece to the right side. I then fed the front injector pipe underneath the right hand filter, and up to the front. (Using new hose) This cleared the underneath of the fuel tank for precious air space. |
Just about to tackle this with my mate on his 998S. Any more hints and tips to look out for? |
Don`t rush it and take your time. Carbon fibre blunts drill quickly and i used S/S fixings for the air filter adaptors and sealed then with silicone rubber to make them air tight. Good Luck. I have since re routed my fuel lines . |
