Stuff the grammar...I'm not at work now you know!...And it's chain off the mito...It would make a right mess if I tried to clean it ON the Mito wouldn't it?
:P;)

Anyway...You're not Ofsted are you??? (raises eyebrow with suspicion...)

Ian 20-Apr-2004 20:32

yeah but if Ofsted were to check up on the cleanness of your chain following on from how they test they schools and LEA’s now they would give you so much time and warning, you would be able to give them an almost totally different impression of how your chain was for the previous 3 years!!! Just wait to the unannounced spot checks come in…… :o:o

paulmort 20-Apr-2004 20:38

clean or cleaner?

!...And it's chain off the mito...It would make a right mess if I tried to clean it ON the Mito wouldn't it?

kwikbitch 20-Apr-2004 20:39

Well if the garage were OFsted they'd definately put Paulmort into special Measures for the state of his chain...

AND they'd definately make allowances for the fact that I'm "new" to the biking world...and have only been qualified less than a year!

Hey! I'm a NQB (newly qualified Biker!):D:P;)

rockhopper 20-Apr-2004 20:41

you sure Mort aint SEN? In need of a TA? Have a word with the LEA or DFES, or perhaps BECTA? :)

Rushjob 20-Apr-2004 20:49

Only the one riding it in our cuddly little KB's case.....
Oh, and if we're really being pedantic it is " chain of the Mito " as " chain off the Mito " would refer to said chain once it had been removed from the motorcycle in question. :P
I'll get me coat.....

Henners 20-Apr-2004 20:54

Eats shoots and leaves

Its funny how such a simple thread can go off the rails ......

WELL DONE KB !!!

Just be careful with wheel alignment when it all goes back together.

OK, just to continue the thread in its new form:

 Its always nice to hear of a lady getting down and dirty !!!

LesPaul 21-Apr-2004 19:30

Can I nominate Mrs749 and Pheonix68 as a clever little miss's then as they passed their theory tests today, next stop CBT (very soon).
In preperation for this I fitted some R&G crash bungs to the monster today :P:lol:

Darren

PS congrats on a shiney chain Lisa, now you'll have to put it back and get it all oily again :D

Ok...Lets run with this one...

I never seem to have a problem with alignment..That's normally a male problem:o;):P

Iconic944ss 21-Apr-2004 19:37

I'm sooooo glad I was specific and said 'Wheel alignment'
