Another scumbag

They keep coming dont they?

Please DON'T ANYBODY BID ON THIS !!!

:mad::mad::mad:

I ask you, an eBay member since yesterday, current bid of £1320 for a 999 :o:o:o US Spec reflectors on mudguards and a description that reads

"You are bidding now for an extraordinary bike made by Ducati after the latest discovery in this area. " That makes a load of sense doesn't it. They must think we were born yesterday...Trouble is a lot of bidders were!!!

If only it wasn't as much hassle reporting thes things to eBay, their on-line investigation form seems to fail each time I try to report a scam

That's the same bike as before ain't it? Mentioned on this site about a week ago?

A few peeps set up new ebay accounts and put silly bids like £1000000 just to stop people from bidding.

Damn good idea if you ask me :D

Mark 13-May-2004 16:10

good bloody idea i reckon stopping these scamers from scaming:oink:

NBs996 13-May-2004 16:32

I hope no-one's going to outbid my £21k - I'm really looking forward to picking it up!!

DJ Tera 13-May-2004 16:45

Sorry mate I've bid £100000 :D

Felix 13-May-2004 16:54

Bidding a high amount is a nice idea. First, you'll need to place the bid at the last second, otherwise the seller will simply cancel your bid. He's already cancelled several bids, if you take a look at the bid history. Even then, he simply "offer" the sale to next person down, which he considers a "unsuspecting sucker". I guess, you'd need to bid just to win the auction, rather then some unrealistic amount. And then mess him about with the deposit. Be great to send him some Western Union money to a location and wait for him to collect it. Anyone up for a little adventure?

DJ Tera 13-May-2004 17:29

If you're paying for the air fare to Nigeria then I'm up for it matey :D

Mark 14-May-2004 11:48

count me in, if you're paying, full expenses etc of course.

I'm mean, with DJ, we've even got a tv celeb on ourside, maybe you should contact watchdog??

Felix 14-May-2004 12:01

Well, I don't know about Nigeria, but would be intersting to find out which Western Union office this scammer would use. Hmmm, very tempting...

Mark 14-May-2004 12:05

go on then, find out!
