is it wrong to like this?! |
How weird is that?? I just spent the last 24hrs looking for one of these: http://www.flickr.com/photos/29493524@N06/2805425523/ And, no. Anything combing Lancia and Martini is worth liking. :D |
Great car must be one of the very few that didn't rot away! |
1 Attachment(s) Not at all, although a Stratos does rank above it in the most desirable stakes |

Given how almost everyone I know loves the Stratos it seems like a massively missed opportunity that no car manufacturer has released anything similar in recent years. It's just one of those cars that looks fast even when it's standing still... :D |
Not a massive fan of lookie likies. The genuine group B road goers such as the 037are pretty rare although a few 205 t16s have been up for sale last year. The 206 T16 was the prettiest of the group B cars IMHO. There were a couple of kit car versions of the stratos being made, not sure if either are still on the go. I vaguely recall someone did a concept car that was allegedly a modern take on the stratos a year or so back. Steve Perez wheels his genuine Stratos out for historic rallies a couple of times a year, it was in a local prep company a good while ago when I was in for a visit. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.......... Ray. |
How about a Delta intergrallie as another option. |
Just don't bring it to Oxfords independent italian car specialists, Senna3's business partner will tell you in no uncertain terms what he thinks of lancias |
