Nottingham / East Mids DD Racers?
 

Are there any other DD racers or supporters based in the Nottingham / east mids area or am I the only one?

I am in Northampton (well, my bike is!), which is not a million miles away.

We are all from nottinham matey the Valentino 65 Seppard supporters club who races class A , we are all looking forward to seeing some cracking racing and some great weekends away watching you lads and lasses:roll:

Used to race DD now go to watch most of them, a few of us about too. We meet most Saturday mornings for a cuppa and a chat at Cornerspeed in Mansfield and we ride to most local DD meets. Andy Sheppard is the only guy currently I can think of still racing in DD from round here but there is 2 more joiing this year and from memory 4 of us that used too :)

There's Andy Thomas and his mate racing this year to. Andy is at south normanton, his mate at chesterfield. there's the 2 others from around here Couchy mentioned should be racing to and ofcourse Vale' Sheppard :)

Right-oh folks, good to hear from you. I'm in West Bridgford and work in MK. I'll be running #39 in Class A, assuming I'm successful in selling off a couple of bikes and a car so I can afford a race bike, van, gear... you know the story.

Don't think I'll be looking for any sponsorship yet as it's over 17 years since I was last on the track and I don't want to embarrass myself.

PS. Anyone want to buy a 750 Paso, 955 Sprint, Beta Alp 4.0 or MX5?

Mine relates to when I was thinking of retiring from racing
as your mood says the older I get the faster I was, if I retire at 88 it should mean that at one time I would have been fast enough to be world champion :)
