Anglesey Who's raced at Angelsey's coastal circuit before ? It looks like a Fun circuit to race on :) |
not raced there but we had a very slow wobble round on the big bikes a few weeks ago and I reckon it will be a great DD circuit :) |
nope! I have watched a few youtube clips! some great views if you get time to look, I can't wait, I Really really can't wait!! Matt #72 |

Yes i have looked at a few and can't wait especailly the cork screw :) |
cork screw? I'm not so sure that the cork screw will be quite like laguna seca, I can just imagine it,,,, 50mph winds, Sea spray smearing your visor, Sideways rain, -2 degrees with the wind chill, no hot showers afterwards and a burger van instead of a heated café Still the black ribbon looks fantastically technical and I really can’t wait to have a go! just pack your wet gear and some thermal pants. :) p.s. I hope the above is all wrong and we have a lovely weekend. Matt |

The tarmac at Anglesey looks a damn sight better than the stuff at the top of the corkscrew in Monterey! Trust me though, the paddock at Laguna is VERY basic. Weather is awesome though! ;) |
well hopefully the weather will be great for us. We were lucky when we went to have a fantastic day!! The tarmac is in great condition but is a little hard on tyres so be prepared! Corkscrew is actually quite good fun... in fact most of the circuit is. Late Apex here we come!!! |

Paddock at Anglesey is a bit rough but there’s electric (don't forget a 16Amp plug!!). Showers and toilets are clean and a world better than Donny, Cafe/Bar opens sporadically but would imagine it will be open all race weekend, beware of steep prices they can charge for egg n chips |
16amp plug? what does this mean? can I plug in a kettle, and a toaster? (the only essential equipment I would mtake if i could plug them in. what is a 16amp plug? where do I get one? matt |
It's a great circuit and i enjoyed it today :D Some of the sections are a little tricky to learn.... like the blind entrance to the chicane :o |
16 Amp plugs are the blue, oval ish shaped plugs. Anglesey is one of a few circuits that only cater for this type of plug. Converter is about £5 Bung this search into EBay 230v 16amp to 13amp |
You can buy them in B&Q as well-shielded external plugs-as used in motorhomes, caravans etc. But make sure you buy a BLUE one not a YELLOW one-yellow ones look the same but aren't, they are 115 volt site plugs and the pin layout is different. John |
it really is an ace little circuit and brilliant on a DD bike!! I think some of you Class B boys and girls need to be nervous as I have a podium prediction after yesterday!! |
I'll be up there with you I hope :) |
