Quite rightly so too. :D

If I've entered Allcomers as well as DD do I get two timed practices in the morning? Hope so, never been there before!

Ghost 18-Jun-2009 22:32

Certainly do Guy, bit of a first this one as they used to just allocate grid pos then you go and race. Not very health and safety friendly, thats why they have gone to timed practice. See you there. :)

That's ok, it means there's no pressure to crack on and get all the laps done before dusk...;)

Anyone know if there's scrutineering saturday night?

skidlids 19-Jun-2009 14:47

All races are shown as 10 laps which is a good bit of extra track time over the entry form that had the DD races as 8 laps and the allcomers as 6 laps

Tha allcomers race is full with about 6 reserves and the Class A / Supermoto races will be a split grid, I suspect the Supermotos will go off first.

I may take some sticky tyres and wets and see about entering SoT on the day as there is enough gap between races to swap wheels, just have to do SoT qually on Diablos

I was thinking of entering the allcomers on the day..........
Looks like i will get a sleep in sunday morning :) :D

Kev, Are you taking the scales with you ?

Sorry Steve leaving the scales at home as its only a one day meet and a busy one at that especially if we don't get scrutineered on Saturday evening. At least I'll get a chance to watch the class B race

With the allcomers alrerady over subscribed I'm looking at entering SoT on the day so the van is now packed with a set of wheels wearing wets and a set of wheels wearing Super Corsas and I'll pack the tyre warmers in the morning. Last time I raced SoT at Mallory was at least 5 years ago on my 916

Also need to pack a 50mm Corse system and Ohlins shocks for Matt-t28 to borrow

i could enter SOT i guess ?
but will i be a danger as the best i can lap mallory is a 1m 06 ? (on a good day)
As the SOT practice is before A&B this could be a good idea..........

skidlids 20-Jun-2009 01:55

You will have to lap a lot quicker than that in the first Class B DD race as the timetable only gives 10 minutes for a 10 lap race, everybody else gets 20mins :o
