its not the game as such just the tarts that play it,over sexed with silly haircuts.
there was an article last year in a mag where they tested sportsman for fitness,top fitness was a WSB rider folowed by a Triathlete,swimmer and last was the premiership footballer no surprize there when your lying on your back in a chair with spirits poured down your neck"

but its another great excuse to cheer on England...especially if we do the double over the Kiwis this weekend in the cricket and the rugby..win Euro 2004... remind the Aussies what its like to lose to the World Champs (you know it TP!!! :-) )...Henman crushing Hewitt at Wimbledon ...big medal haul at the olympics...

Can't remember Hewitt being whooped by Henman at all. How does the Queens championships sound? Henman lost the final to Hewitt how many years in a row? Head to head I don't think Henman has ever beaten Hewitt - has he? I am prepared to be corrected on this. Hewitt was world number 1 for over a year - 18 mths I think ... Henman's highest ranking is 5th ... he's an also-ran!!!

Rugby is the sport! I love it, love playing it, love watching it. Although, despite the current Ferrari domination I still like watching the F1 .... although I would watch all 5 days of a test match if given the opportunity (and a beer fridge).

Why don't you rate the Aussie cricket team? We are having a few fast bowling issue's at the moment but the fielding is second to none, the batting is second to none ... after you get Hayden, Ponting etc out .. Gilchrist walks in!!! Must be demoralising!

..........ah but we've got Steve Harmison.........rated probably best fast bowler in the world today.

Aah,I remember the last big tournament England were involved in.The whole nation was glued to the tv,..............exept Marko and I having a suberb blast through deserted rural roads.A manic blast through Lincolnshire followed by a coffee and a burger on the banks of the Humber.

Touch rugby, god, that is seriously knackering, harder than it looks, as the constant running. Busted a few guts playing that......... but as always, some of us would decided to put a winger in his place and tackle the the poof. :lol:

You're right flanker - touch rugby is a lot faster, and a lot more running!

Good stuff, a lot of rugby guys play touch to stay fit in the offseason. You do improve your handling skills, passing etc as well because you tend to play with a more inventive style. It's a great game.
