Where will we get the entry forms from for the First round at Brands, as its nothing to do with New Era?? |
Quote:
Well you might well have assumed that we hadn't thought of that, but then you would be mistaken. You will receive your entry froms from New Era in the normal way, but obviously not yet! |
Quote:
Excuse me please, but as a qualified mech engineer I assume nothing, I take great exception that you thought that I did so. I merely asked a relevant question. |
So long as I get them I don't care where they come from :) |
Quote:
+1 Absolutemont:D |
Quote:
Too be fair, it was a pretty relevant question and one that I don't think anyone should be made to feel bad about asking. |
Quote:
Thanks Jason, but I'm thick skinned enough not to feel bad, its just that I had an ex wife that used to tell me what I was thinking, she knew me, Mr Bushell doesn't, but he could be very telepathic. ;) |
Quote:
I was hoping they were all going to come through me then I could refrain from sending them on to those bu66ers that keep beating me all the time  at the moment I can't recall who sent the forms out when we did Snetterton with the KRC in 2005 and the Assen meetings in 2006, 2007 & 2008 |
Quote:
That would have been me! |
Quote:
In that case your getting Lazy, in getting New Era to do it :p |
Now then. As Brands is now only 8 weekends away are those entery forms ready? Also, have the actual race days been decided as i (and probably some others) need to book the time off work asap. :D Neil #70 |

+1 here bud! Mark #69 |

+2. With the weather you seem to having in the UK lately, I may have to travel home a week earlier to allow enough time for travel down from the frozen north to the frozen south. Somehow sleeping in a camper van for the weekend doesn't seem so appealing at the moment:sing: :sing: :sing: Mike #71 |
AFAIK There should be meetings taking place later this week with organising bodies, as of yet the BSB schedule for the Brands Easter meeting has yet to be finalised. What I do know is that there are 4 weekends left in this month, then 4 in March which to me makes Easter 9 weekends away :) I also know Mallory holds 32 on a grid and so far this coming seasons DD entry list (that's those that have sent in a DD registration & monies) exceeds that, there's even enough to fill a grid at Pembrey. Not that I expect everyone registered to be at every race. |
Ells, Have you registered #69 for DD, as I think you'll find it's already been taken by Eric Howe (ericthered)? |
Quote:
most others have had their number given away if not going out the next year and some had our numbers taken away even tho we had been signed up, dpends on who you are tho. my number was given away in early january and i had signed up for that year in the october before. after you with the saucer :rodent: |
Antonye, yes I did register it for DD. Was surprised when it was available. Very surprised that large grids are predicted or is ther an expectation of high numbers just at Brands? Cheers Mark |
Quote:
I'm hoping to persuade him - I know he still has the bike so should make some use of it! |
Quote:
It wouldn't suprise me we get over 40 signed up for this year, I have been compiling a list of those I have heard were going to race DD in 2010 and those I expect to return and we are only a few short of that figure at the moment. Not as many as a few years ago but still a good healthy field and again there is a good spread of experience, with again a few first time racers giving it a go |
Quote:
Kev, do we get to see the list up to now? I'm sure it is'nt just me who wants to have a look at the 2010 "who's who" of DD. :D Neil #70 |
Neil My list is unofficial, just something I have constructed from reading across a few websites and those I have talked to or had PMs with and as I have a few extra names on there that haven't registered I will wait confirmation, which we could try doing here. So who is riding in what class in 2010, I'll start with a few of the locals and those I ride with on the regional rideouts Class A ---------- Kev Ellis Dallas Class B ---------- Kev Palmer Matt Larrett Paul Bradbury Craig Fisher Paul Pullen |
what happens if we are oversubscribed for brands?? assume its the first 34 (or whatever) with their form in rather than timed practice drop out... |
Paul, My understanding is that you are correct with this statement! Chris |
great...where do I send the chq ;) lol |
**** Class B ---------- Kev Palmer Matt Larrett Paul Bradbury Craig Fisher Paul Pullen Phil Wilcock (Ghost) #61 Steve Klee |
Quote:
You Mean you read the rules :o 2.1.6 Reserves In the event of over subscribed grids reserves will be allocated places on the grid in the order in which their entry was received, not on qualification time. |
Noy sure if things have changed but in 2007 Maximum grid size for the Brands Indy circuit was 42 places, that year DD went there with 57 riders, all out in one joint quallifying session but each class got its own race grid |
So who is riding in what class in 2010, I'll start with a few of the locals and those I ride with on the regional rideouts Class A ---------- Kev Ellis Dallas Otei #85 Class B ---------- Kev Palmer Matt Larrett Paul Bradbury Craig Fisher Paul Pullen |

I tried to start a new thread with a list but proving too difficult on my touch, so someone else will have to.... |
