It's been sooo long since Cadwell,

awesome

dunlop0_1 07-Mar-2011 09:42

Trophy's are nice really nice.
No penny's for presentation I'm afraid.

See you Friday matey.

Jolley 07-Mar-2011 13:00

Apparently, if you don't coolest the previous years trophy you are not eligible for trophies in the following year...

Anyone know what paddock we are in this year?
Do we park up behind the Pit Lane Garages, or in the dip by the Surtees Bar?

Hopefully we are not in the bottom field again

That was just a BSB thing, so it will be different this year.

If you have paid extra for a garage you can go to the inner paddock at Brands, otherwise it's a case of pick your spot in the outer paddock for the weekend.

One word of caution - it's quite a steep hill to push your bike up for scrutineering if you choose the bottom of the paddock! Remember that the rules will say no engines to be started before 9am (usually), and you'll want to be through scrutineering and signed on well before then!

Sorted 07-Mar-2011 14:27

Ok Thanks Antonye

Jolley 07-Mar-2011 14:36

According to the info Skids posted, Garage allocation doesn't count on Friday though (only certain classes allowed)... So we are all in the outer bit on Friday... So chances are there will be no room to move Sat because of the teams already allowed there Friday (although you will have garage available, you'll be parked well away from it). That is how I read it anyway

Sorted 07-Mar-2011 14:44

I'm going Thursday late afternoon/evening and will pick a spot in the outer paddock for the weekend :-)

Wonder when we'll get our tickets and what the schedule (timewise is for Friday and Saturday)??

skidlids 07-Mar-2011 18:50

And her is Saturdays Schedule

Cranker V2 07-Mar-2011 19:34

Okey dokey kev. One question...............how long is FOLLOWS? Practice and qualifying assembly could be as funny as last year at brands!

skidlids 07-Mar-2011 20:13

How long Follows means will depend on incidents, but I would expect our practice/quallifying sessions will be around 09:35 and 12:00

Stormchaser 07-Mar-2011 20:27

Are you limited in the amount of space allowed in the paddock - Can I park my car next to the 'gazeebo' or does the car have to be parked elsewhere? I should remember from visits as a spectator, but it's all gone a bit hazy in my old age.....

And please don't rain........!

"Pitch up and take as much room as you like" is the rule, but "don't take the ****" is the other one!

If you're coming in the car and have a trailer and gazebo, you're not really taking much more space than a guy with a camper and awning.

Keep a look out for the other DD guys as it's always good to get a group of people together. Helps some people remember when they need to be somewhere, so they can just follow everyone else... ;)

I'm sure Skids will have a flag or something up showing where the DD boys are.

I'll be in my allocated garage

steve41 08-Mar-2011 12:14

All the best to everyone for the weekend, keep it Sunny side up, even if it is raining.
I will be stuck in the middle of the North Sea, so not able to make it, but will be keeping a check on things.

I should hopefully be there for Mallory to do battle!!!

Not sure which one yet as the allocation info isn't out yet.

But we have a Jurno to look after on Friday so I want to be in a garage for the two days

skidlids 09-Mar-2011 10:42

As the paperwork is now here I'm in garage 31 or possibly any garage between number 27 and 31

Garage allocations are

27, Dallas, Paul Pullen, Alessandro Vespa
28, Peter Cooper, Paul Payne, Hugh Simpson
29, Ron Jolley, Mark Ellery
30, Kev Palmer, Matt Lawson,
31 James Stevenson, Kev Ellis, Gary Wooton

Riders allocated garages may change with another

mat2hew 09-Mar-2011 11:09

yea!

I'm well pleased.

Matt

Bionicle 09-Mar-2011 12:04

My allocation kind of brings home red faced memorys of last year at Brands,

"Oh Dallas, whats your real name" :)

ells 09-Mar-2011 13:26

Cheers for the garage info. Will be good to get in and set up early. Surprised more peeps did not go for garages.

Mark

I'll just come and squat.:D

Stormchaser 09-Mar-2011 17:54

I see that we can move into the garages from the lower paddock after 18.00 on Friday pm. I assume that means we can leave our bikes in the garages overnight?

Although subject to a penalty if caught, probably why the list also has the race number against the riders name
