Class B entry criteria and other ?'s What is it these days is it open to anyone ?, how are the new Dunlops and any class B SS's for sale ? ta :) |
Quote:
The Dunlops are excellent, no one is complaining about them. I don't mind who is racing, as the bikes are about the same so if you can't catch someone then up your game till you do. :D |

dont you mean anyone can 'almost' win on that bike?!  |

Oo oo I recognise that bike !!!!! ;-) |
I need the space so its got to go, am actualy asking £200 less than what i paid for it. Have had a few enquierys so am holding off putting it on Ebay for a week or so. first person to come up with the cash gets it. |
Quote:
that's amazing, You only paid half what it's worth! I know I may be a bit bias but it really is a great bike, I honestly believed last year it was the fastest on the grid, it's a shame I kept hitting the eject button! I'm half tempted to buy it back. :) Awesome |

What you meant was poor person getting married with no money that would like to race and can only afford a cheap bike and tyres ;) Looking at eligibility I aint allowed in anyway !, I might just buy one and run it in class A LOL |
Quote:
Hi Tony, just like Paynep and myself its Class A only these days but nothing to stop you doing it on a Class B bike with a white number board, something I have considered doing myself as I'll probably go a bit faster. |

When is someone no longer eligible for Class B? |
Quote:
Me too, I'm slower on a 620 than I was on a 583. Anyone want to swap a 620 motor for a 583??? |

next year..... |

When they move on from Class B into either Class A or another race class and don't race in class B From the rules a) Clubman and Clubman A licence holders required to wear a Orange vest as of 1st January 2011. Or b) Raced in Desmo Due on a 583cc machine in 2010, for 2 or more races There is no requirement for anybody already racing in Class B to have to move on Now if Tony wanted to exploit this rule he could apply as a guest rider These rules will not apply to guest riders, who do not score points. These are defined as people entering for a one off round and are not registered for the whole series. |
So if you have left class B but not done any other racing in between are you still eligible? |
if you havent raced or held a licence for 3 years, dont you become a clubman A/novice again too? |
Quote:
I would say so Franco, so if you take a year or two out from racing I can't see the harm in picking up where you left off Quote:
Yes, which does mean you could race in Class B which I think Cobby could have when he returned to racing My list of ringers gets longer every year, Adrian would be a novice licnce holder if he decided to start racing again after a chat earlier today I may have to see about getting Steve Hilary out on track with us |

bring em on!! More I can learn from the better....altho I've only just broken top 10 so maybe not  |
My spare class B bike is now sold :) |
Quote:
erm.....hope ur not allowing more competition for us!! |

All competition is good competition, but i think were safe as it will not be run in Class B as far as i am aware :) |
