Meet at Shell Service Station Winnall, Winchester at 7am
Easton Lane, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 7

REMEMBER - During all rideouts every rider is expected to act responsibly and is deemed to be in control of their bike at all times.
There is no reason for individuals to ride outside of their ability. There is no need to play "Catch-up". Prior to any rideout all those involved should be made aware of the route and destination. A system for junctions etc. should be used to ensure riders are not left behind or feel pressured in any way to ride in a fashion that they are not comfortable with.

Better take it easy with that throttle, Kev P says you could easily loose yourself of the back let alone the soft luggage

What time are you aiming to get there? Is it a straight to Prescott route or a scenic one as this could take you up towards Wantage, Faringdon, Lechlade, Burford and across A40 towards Cheltenham then Prescott?? I might be tempted and could meet up on route A343 towards Newbury? Could even have my new bike on the stand if there is room.:)

Great day out at Prescott Hill climb with mates today, thanks to Kev for the passes and Trudi for her usual hospitality.

230 miles two up on the Diavel, what a great bike it is, Sandra only had one complaint (about the bike that is) the pillion pegs tend to keep moving as they don't lock down. For me as a two up bike it will take some beating :)

Early birds at Winnall ready to take on the freezing conditions...note to self don't wear summer gloves in April

did Rons bike make it back in one piece; Clint seems to have his eye on something ;)

I'll second that
great to see so many familiar faces today and a couple of new ones.
Motorbikes, sunshine and good company, does it get any better.

First of all. Big thanks to Kev for the passes and Trudi and Kev for there Hospitality.
I thought Prescott was great. I really did enjoy watching my first hill climb. Hope it was a success for the organisers and it becomes an annual event.
Boy.... was it nippy first thing this morning M3..A34..Brrr.
As Kev said...............Motorbikes, sunshine and good company, does it get any better.
When i sorted out the F...ing iPhone i will post some pic's.

Clint.

Half of them may never have made it.... it was as if I got lost on purpose just to find a forlorn bunch of Ducatis sat in a layby waiting for divine intervention. I therefore boldly led them into getting lost in a totally different direction!

Wulfie 11-Apr-2011 09:59

Hey well I made a meet at last, even though I probably wouldn't have found it without tagging onto a couple of likley lads on KTM's on the way in, and I got my Kevins muddled........a point quite ridiculous considering I had already spoken to Skidlids when I arrived, but i'll blame the sunshine addling my brain.
Great to meet some of you guys, shame I didn't get a chance to speak to all but there will be another time......sorry I had to bunk off early, had a top ride home though

later

Chris

Excellent day! Excellent company!

Thanks to all whom helped organise the event. The weather could not have been better. Need to pack some shorts next time.................

The ride home was cracking, followed some spirted locals down to Cirencester, then across to Letchlade, Fairford, Wantage and then home

Best regards,

James
