No7 has left the building...

...well the garage actually ;)

may the new owner have even more success on the old gal than I did - do her proud :D

Gbyte666 04-Nov-2011 15:54

Are you trying to be modest or take the **** because I'd say you had the best year ever racing on her with 3 wins.

Craig

4 wins ;)

neither really....

now we know what she is capable of, with a better rider who has less to move...hopefully a few more cups this year for the new owner :)

Only 3 in the results?

4 wins was enough for 1st or 2nd this year, and Matt won it with just 3 last year. Its a great series for individual racers.

Is there a 620 in that empty space yet Paul ?

and the official results sheets show one on Sun at anglesey - the one many said was worthless and didnt mean anything to whether I could win a race or not ;)

on its way...well found one anyway but not spoken to seller for a bit...

steeevvvooo 04-Nov-2011 18:52

thanks Bradders, nice to meet you today. Had a few mishaps already...

my fancy new strap snapped on the rear of the bike! No damage and managed to limp home with just the front straps. Already got my money back from halfrauds.

Then got home to find I'm locked out of my new garage (only got the keys this morning!!) due to a dodgy door lock. Bike and trailer are parked outside in the rain now :(

Nice one Paul and Steeevvvooo I hope your luck changes before you take it to the track

as for anyone after a 620 there are a few on Ebay at the moment, a breakers in Gloucester have a CAT C one which is cosmetics and runs going for £1195 (I offered £900 but got turned down) then there is a 620 dark with no bids starting at £1100 and another 620 Monster this time with twin discs at just over £1100 with about 5 bids so far

Well, it didn't mean anything in the championship ;) It has nothing to do with proving you could win a race (you have proved that since... And you did win that race)... But do you hand on heart believe if everyone had stayed for Sunday you would have still won that race that weekend?

Maybe winning That race was what gave Paul the confidence to go on and win the others

No the new owner of my bike will kick some butts. Good season in prospect for class B and class A.:D

bradders 04-Nov-2011 20:57

hand on heart if I hadn't binned it in qually and given myself even more of a disadvantage I believe I could have been there or thereabouts on the Sat. And if I had a faster bike or not had a 30 kilo disadvantage I would have been closer to the front all year.

but its all ifs buts and maybes and I have 4 large cups in my lounge staring at me, that's all I will remember ;)

sounds lie fun already Steve, if you need anything or want to know anything give me a bell, I have most of the stuff for the last 2 years written down, gearing, tracks etc. Come Jan, I BETTER BE fit, and I'll be doing a few tds so maybe hook up then

steeevvvooo 04-Nov-2011 22:36

sure mate, will defo try and meet up before season starts. I'll be calling over the next few weeks for sure as I start a few bits and pieces. Not decided how much I want to take on yet, so you might see exactly the same bike on the grid come spring! ;) I'm away for most of the next 2 weeks so you'll have some peace and quiet until then.

I'm also trying to drum up interest over on UKMOC, and have started a blog http://stevogoesracing.blogspot.com/ and seen quite a lot of interest over on that site. Never know, there might be a few more newbies from over there next year...
