Bet that was a long Drive Scott and a bit off the beaten track to get to Craigs place to pick up the bike
Quite a few newcomers to DD this year, mainly in Class B so should make the Novice Championship interesting

Seeyou in the Paddock

Yea we had a bit of last min direction Kev, left past the pheasent and just right of the dead badger.
Did make me laugth though Scott when I saw you only had 1 tie down strap and some baler twine.
If anyone is going on any shake down track days ( Oulton is closest I think ) let Scott know, be good for him to get some tips paddock and track side.
Great to meet you on Sat Scott and it was such a treat to see the bike go to someone that looked so excited about racing.

Craig

racepace 13-Dec-2011 06:36

Ha ha that was my mate promising he had the straps but turned out we never did, we had one rubbish one lol. That handle bar tie was great though.

Thanks craig.

As for Craigs house being hard to find i think i will blame the sat nav

WE GOT THERE IN THE END. (just)

You wouldn't think so from the registrations so far, 7 so far in class A and 4 of those were out in Class A last year, One new to DD and two from Class B
Still Class A currently dominates the Grid with 5 registered for Class B, mainly newcomers

Although I'm led to understand there are a couple of registrations passing through processing at the momnet

From my spread sheet I see a lot of names I expect to re-register plus some newcomers and things are looking real healthy for DD in 2012

Mines in the post. All the other paperwork done and bike sorted.

Sure it was similar last year with pople registering mainly at the start of the new year.

Correct Neil

And Mark (Ells) you are already down as registered and as you say most entries will come in after Xmas and the New Year are out of the way.
Hopefully they're not all going to be all last minute in case we have left it to late to start negotiating for a second grid which could be the case at tracks where they have smaller grids.

I suppose we will have to cross that bridge if/when we come to it, but a general indication of numbers does make it a possibility.

I'm currently looking at (I think its now) 16 registered, another 22 probable and 8 possible, sudenly a grid size of 32 at Mallory doesn't look that big
