Thats really neat,..................kinda! Last time I went to the TT (99?),I saw a 916 outfit.Aah those crazy Germans.:D |
Yep - no taste as well as no humour  |
That's just wrong |
SAD! |
Could have been worse they could have done it to a yellow one, maybe all Red Dukes should have a 3rd wheel |
Check out those forks!!!!! Chris. |
It invalidates my warranty, so I won't be having one in the next year or two. :bouncy: |
I think it's great. Before you **** me off,think-the bloke might not have both his legs!A mate of mine lost his legs in a bike accident, but instead of quiting biking, got a sidecar put on his bike so he could keep riding!Think anything that enables you to do what you love is ace!! |
Looks lika a Paso, I'm still looking for the conventional outfit that used to run in F2 when I was racing, think it used a 888 motor but often had trouble with the fuel injection. Would be a great project to convert for road use and I'd happily take anyone out who thought it was a bit lardy (as long as they brought along a change of underpants):roll: |

:lol::lol: and i'm laughing cos ya scaring me Paul, least get to Swanage in seconds! |
Anyone who thinks an outfit is wimpy has never ridden one. I used to passenger on a 1000 Vincent outfit in 1969/70-we lapped Brands in 60secs(which was lap record)-which ain't bad considering it was 34 years ago. Sidecars is a whole different world guys. Going back to the outfit pictured, I used to see an 888 outfit at Brands WSB everyear, guy who rode it was paralised from waist down. He just rolled his wheelchair into the sidecar bit, heaved himself onto the seat, strapped his feet to specially modified pegs, and blasted off-good luck to him I say, at least he is still riding his bike. was offered a ride on a F2 outfit couple years ago, but when i watched a passenger being flung from another outfit, i decided to decline the offer. Last year at brands, saw a nasty accident where the outfit seized, throwing the passenge into the armco at the top of paddock hill. The passengers have big balls all i can say! |

"aint bad" - bit of an understatement that John! 60 secs in an outfit in 1970 is very, very impressive, you're a mad, brave lot you sidecar passengers. A few years back I saw some sidecar racing from Germany where they used FJ1200's, ZZR11's etc with minimal mods - top entertainment, can't help but to think sidecar racing would be much more popular like this, bit iffy when things go wrong though with all that weight about. |
We may have some wierd bikes over here but the Danish bikers know how to hold a good weekend party, Hey they even invite ppl from England, so if your doing nothing in August, and are fed up with slowing down for speed cameras hop on the ferry and pop over. http://www.thytraef.dk/default.asp?kategori1=3c&id1=82 See pics from last year http://www.skagentraef.dk/html/2003_kvaern.htm The party pics,( not for younger members ) http://www.skagentraef.dk/html/2003_party.htm more pics http://www.skagentraef.dk/html/2003_onsdag.htm |
Actually that's a bloody good idea...I could go to work everyday on my bike... carry my laptop and all the marking home at night...nip to tesco's and pick up the shopping...go to b&q and pick up those fence post's we need for the garden...ACE...(not!):lol::lol: |
