Digital/LCD Rev Counter Advice Please

Been looking at a few on the bay with the intention of fitting one on to Toni's M600. Most say not for multicoil systems and the ones that are seem to be massive money.
Prefer something basic say just and LCD rev counter (the block line type not like a chrono display)
Anyone fitted one (Mr Ellis ;) ) they can recommend?

Cheers.
Neil

I bought a Mychron 4 which is a small self-contained system that is maily used with karts, but will work on anything.
It's an LCD display with adjustable everything. It includes a lap timer but you need to add the trigger, either optical or magnetic pickup. You can add extra sensors like temperature, speed, gearing, etc. It just needs a wire wrapped around the HT lead to work on revs, and is very easy to setup.

Worth a look as I paid about £45 off ebay for it!

Sorry Neil the only digital ones I have experience of are the MT940 and the 848/1098/1198 versions, so not cheap ones
My M750 has the Analouge one from the DP Catalouge otherwise I have used Stack, Elliot Scitsu and Spa Rev counters again all analouge

Scitzu for me Neil cheap from new and a needle is much easier to see than a digit display. My 10k limit as adjusted to 12 o'clock position so I didn't need to focus on the numbers.

My monster came with an Acewell unit http://www.acewell-meter.com/c0_1.php?pid=5&bid=11 They come in a variety from basic to including lights. I am not sure which one is on the bike but if you are in no hurry you are welcome to have a look in Feb.

I was reading about some cheapish Translogic dashes in the last few days think they were about £300 but I can't find the link now.

Koso do quite a wide range for between £120 and £200
Worth checking them out

I had a translogic one on my B bike in 2010. Nice little units with a number of inputs for temps etc and have rev limit LEDs set in the top for easy viewing. We did have a problem with the rev signal to mine going a bit odd when I put the DP ignitors on it, but this was solved by putting a diode (I think) on the feed.

Sold mine to someone on Ducatisti for £250.
