too soon to start on about snetterton? I haven't ridden there so as per usual looked up old DD You Tube footage to get a feel for a new course, omg, how many corners are there to remember!! It look me every session of practice day to learn the lines at Oulton; snetterton is flat but it sure is long. Have a look, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wj_snCBs-mE. Who is dcurzon1973?, lots of on-board footage, fantastic sound quality too. pete |
That is trouty top man on another planet but top man lol did some excellent videos some where even legal  should have seen the one he did crack and sack wax  looked painfull , the man is an entertainer :D |

one of THE funniest things I've ever seen!! but you need to see Snetterton 300 vids not his there are lots of corners Pete but its easy ;) and no - its NEVER too soon :burn: |
|
ok, will check that one, just back to trouties video, that isnt skids in a very new, and shiny set of yellow leathers at 25 secs is it? pete |
yes it is |
Infield is the worst part IMO, late apex's, oh and that last left hander before the start finish :o and it's 2.99 miles long. Other than that only 13 corners to learn. ;) |

that the best part Neil :D Cant wait; I loved Snett last year and am aiming at getting within a second of your pace dry...well thats the stars target....Brands stars was a 56 and did a few 55's so who knws :biaggi: |
No way too early, I'm thinking about gearing already! |
ar gearing yes...Brands was as tall as mine usually went so will be trying some different stuff on the test day for sure. Need new chain first |

Yeah it's ok. Wet first race and dry for the second. Restart after Matt ran in the back of me and fell off. I had to settle for second place to Andy C who also set the lap record 2:15 and change I think. |
I thought you won the 2nd with lap record and Andy C was in the 17's, but was only skimming the results the other night. 15's is where its at, not sure I'll get that far but sure Andy and Matt probably will EDITED: I did Andy C an injustice 16's was the time |
So whats best to run? 15 front 44 rear?? |

Depends on which year engine you are running. Chris: burn: |
5 speed, ss 620 |

Skids is the man to ask ( he has a ratio chart, did have it, but can not find it??), but as Snetterton is new, as in the sense that we have had 1 meeting on the 300 layout and not done the 200 layout. , it would be hard to say what to use. Chris:burn: |

14/45 or 46 didn't do me any harm. :) |
Testing and practice are for sorting your gearing. |

Thats alot to hit just right, the scalectrix track that is Brands Indy with its 5 corners must be the complete opposite. Oulton was 2.7 mls, so nearly as long, but only 8 or 9. Also, are there power hookups in the paddock? I missed a trick not taking a cable and fan heater to Brands, friday night was freezing; and it was so quiet without the usual generators powering up motorhomes in time for Cocktails and Eastenders. pete |

To right you did, went faster today! |
Quote:
good man!! Think this year most are going faster. Gonna be fun trying to keep up :D |

Why am I not suprised. :D |

oh yeah, I remember that, that'll be just after you came past so close you snapped my front brake lever off... |
