Croft BSB

This Friday is the last day for advance tickets, have a look @ www.croftcircuit.co.uk for info.

No point in spending more than you have to!!

Ray.

Ah well. Never mind. Some of us Scottish branch members are planning to come down to Croft anyway as it's a good circuit and it's great to see more BSB racing in the northern half of the UK......

Just got the tickets today along with a warning not to be a naughty boy on North Yorkshires roads, a full breakdown of all the biker fatalities on the roads down here last year.

take it easy,

Ray

11 dead bikers so far this year.
Latest was a head on with two bikes.
WTF is happening here?
28 bikers died in NY last year, highest ever recorded.
I know theres a lot more people riding bikes but the public and politicians only look at numbers of fatals, not percentage against actual people riding now.

Take it easy in NY every day but especially Sundays, local paper says its the target day of the week now.

We go out mid week now but even then theres the mobile speed camera units.

Be careful out there guys, its not just the law you need to look out for.

;)who else is going to Croft need to blow the cobwebs off the bike as its not been used for 6weeks

Me n Rocket will be trying to scrape away from the family holiday on sunday to ride over from Whitby.

We are taking the bikes with us on saturday but will be with the families so am earning brownie points at the moment.

Have your number Mart so will be in touch.

Gotta do some painting etc tonight to make sure my lucks in.

As has been said before, be careful and stay on the right side of the law this weekend!

I'm planning to be up there maybe Sat and Sun or it could be just Sun depending on how my negotiation at home goes and if I have to take the 2 seat bike ! Looks like it could be wet too .............

This puts a new slant on it.
Dont mind riding in the wet but standing about in wet gear all day dont fill me with joy!
Looks like the Lotus will be getting a run out eh Rocket?????

To be honest Frank and Geoff, the cretins can't get a one day 'guesscast' right so what hope have they got with 10........:( wake up in the morning and make a judgement is my motto nowadays.

Got my press tickets thru today so I'll be there from 0830 on Sat and 0930 on Sun (damn briefings!!!!). Traveling up on me pa's Thundersplat. Apparently I'm getting a rather fetching bib to wear so I should be easy enought to spot (and throw insults at!!!!!).

Iv'e just checked out the Met office web site and they are only giving low cloud for Sunday so hopefully I may be able to make the journey up from Kent

weeveetwin 14-Aug-2004 00:09

The local weather forecast's just been on TV - they say it's gonna be a dull to start tomorrow, but bright/sunny in the afternoon (22deg). Sunday = bright/sunny until late afternoon. The local weather forecast for the NE region is NEVER WRONG! (Well, hardly ever.. well, not often really..)

I'm glad you posted that as tomorrow I'm leaving Kent to stay with friends in Cumbria and then riding over to Croft on Sunday. At least now I have someone to blame if I get wet:)
