Bayliss Out? Noooooooo say it aint so. This article seems to suggest that all is not well in the Ducati MotoGP camp. http://foxsports.news.com.au/story/0...-23770,00.html Hopefully it will just be a blip and Bayliss willl stay. |
Oh no! Still would be nice to see him in WSB or BSB though if worst came to the worst...... |
No signs of any tension on Ducati.com |

Well, there wouldn't be, would there? Still, it's all part of the "silly season", which about to get into full swing after the summer break. |

No, but you usually get a sign all is not well if it's geting really bad. Or at least a denial. |
Hopefully it will just be a case of not being happy with each others performance - the article states this also happened before Donny where the Duc's - especially Troy had a good showing. If there is more success in the second half of the season then hopefully it will dissipate. |
i think its aussies in general......always seem to cause problems. ;) |

Thats what I like about you Andy ... NOTHING! ;) |
Bayliss crashed on second from last lap, Ellison crashed at the same place. http://www.ducati.com/racing/index.jhtml |
have to say i think bayliss may well be history, dont know why but he's riding crap at the moment |
I dunno, he's been qualifing well of late, and for the bike a he's had fairly good Donnie. As for Brno, seems he was'nt the only rider suffering with a bad set up. I hope he don't get dropped. Haydon is not having a good year nor is the Emperor. Edwards is having a mare and not performing as expected. I can't see Xaus moving to the Corsa squad, well until he stops crashing. Hodgson needs a run of races not injured i feel before we see some good performances. I hope both stay where they are, and i'm sure Ducati will pay their money as D'antin don't seem to have much, not helped by fact Xaus crashed how many times this weekend. I note that Hodgson and the Emperor had a few words after he took Hodgson out in final Qualifing |
I think he'll have to do better than Sunday's showing to keep his place in the team!! |
Now Chaz Davis, what a result when everything is considered.... |
flanker I'll second that!! The boy done good!! |
I doubt Bayliss will go - sure he's been struggling of late but so has Capirossi. The bikes obviously haven't moved on from last year and it's just finding that little bit of extra to keep pace with the Hondas to bring them back to the front. Rossi getting the Yamaha back on the pace is also another twist of the knife for Ducati as Yamaha have dropped into second manufacturer slot, taking Ducati's place from last year. So yes, the pressure is on but I doubt they would find a more committed rider than Bayliss, both on the track and to the brand. Who seriously would replace him? Rossi? Doubt that. Biaggi? He'll stay with Honda, as will Gibbers, Hayden, Edwards, and most of the other Honda riders that have been on form this year. Ducati aren't going to bring in someone like Hodgson, Xaus or even Laconi / Toseland in place of Bayliss either! |
I think Hodgson would give it a 100% for 205 and perhaps Rossi in 2006 ?? |
