Yep,

Was in last weeks comic as well. A triplet of 998r also for sale this week for those that prefer, starting at £11, 500. a 996r in race trim for £8,000 a few weeks ago. 999r seem to start at about 13,500

996 sps from about 7,000

Over the last few weeks there has been a truck load of tasty dukes for sale, it looks like a buyer's market at the mo'

You're not kidding....

One of the other highlights of the ride to Popham at the weekend was meeting up at Wheels International. There in the window, is a brand new unregistered 999 Bip at £8499.

It's an import of course (but hey, aren't they all?) but that's still £500 cheaper than D&K who're doing the same deal at £8999, and a whopping £1500 cheaper than On Yer Bike...er, sorry...I meant Ducati Aylesbury, for a 'pukka' import.

There are loads of deals to be had out there at the mo' The official dealers are weighing in with 0% finance, loads of goodies chucked in, insurance deals etc.

I would say that sticker price is just an opening bid in a reverse auction!!

Does this mean that Summer is over then???

Jools 01-Sep-2004 17:59

Did Summer ever begin then?

Ray 01-Sep-2004 18:07

Lord R,

Summer is only just beginning for some, if you can't be bothered with the mild inconvenience of travel abroad why not build a replica of the Brands GP Circuit in the grounds and put a roof on it!! undertrack heating is a must as well!!

According to the weather sage September is going to be a good month, can't be much worse can it?

Must go, my "assistant" has just got her breath back from running along side with an umbrella as I test drive my new 999r powered bar stool at Croft.

I must say I'm getting somewhat peeved with having to continually buy job-lots of hairspray and getting Jeeves to expel these into the atmosphere just to keep the ozone layer deteriorating.

I only bought Brighton because I was told that by the end of 2004 its climate would be like the South of France. They've only gorn and lied to me!!! - bounders the lot of 'em.

Looks like I'll have to migrate to my Winter sun retreat a little earlier this year then. Its a bit bloody inconvenient though as I've only just bought Gibraltar and I haven't had a chance to decorate it yet!!!
