Engine year

How do I find out which year my b class DD bike engine is from ? Myk

If the clutch slave is on the left it's a late Monster engine. If it's on the right then its a pre 99 engine and depending how far out the output shaft protrudes determines if its pre 95 or not

As already mentioned to you Myk yours is a Late Monster engine circa 99 to 01
Has a 1.85 to 1 Primary drive ratio and standard gearing for a Monster was 15/46.
600 Supersport models were no longer made at that point but if they had of been Ducati would have done what they normally did and dropped the rear sprocket down to a 44.
in 2002 the Monster became a 620 and the 620 Sport was introduced, gearing was 15/46 and 15/44 respectively
