Rapid bike evo on Ducati 1299

Has anyone got any experience of using a rapid bike evo on a Ducati 1299 or similar? These are a piggy-back ECU to improve fuelling. If so would you recommend them and what benefits did you see? Did overall tank range remain the same?

Considering the £416 purchase, only a few online testimonies.

Thanks

Went for it

Decided to go for it despite no feedback or history of others making this modification. Install was ok following instructions and advice online passing the wiring harness behind the top radiator rather than between the cylinders. The injector connector was tricky to get on properly and needed the ABS cover and control unit to be loosened. The rest was fairly straight forward install wise and was able to re-rout cables and connectors. Ended up through-bolting the main control unit with m5 bolts through the plastic housing on the LHS opposite the coolant tank, fits well under the fairing. Connected and updated the software and changed the min Correction RPM to 1700 following some online recommendations. Took for a 20 mile test run in very cold but dry conditions, roads still damp with road salt. Bike behaved normally at first but started to notice a smoother running below 4K rpm and maybe slightly less engine breaking. Now runs smoothly down to 3k RPM without chain slap / snatching and shudder. DQS still works well, too early to make fuel consumption conclusions yet. Will need further rides to properly self tune through all rev ranges. Winter conditions prevented exploring the upper rev range and wide open throttle. Time will tell but encouraging early results.

Sounds interesting! Would be interested to hear how the performance compares once you've managed to have a proper ride :)
