2002 748 Stalling once reaching 180 degree
 

Hey there I need help. I just bought a 2002 748S with less than 7000 kms. But when I drive it it stalls out when I reach about 180 on temp. It was not start till I let it cool for 10-15 minutes and then I drive it and it shuts down again at the same temp. Burps and darts for a minute than nothing. The guy I bought it from is a mechanic but says he’s to busy to help me.:((. I changed fuel pump and filter and was told the valves and belts were done. Any advice would be much appreciated. The spark plugs look great.

This goes back a bit so hopefully you’re sorted by now. If not I had a similar issue on a 1983 FJ1100 Yamaha which turned out to be a fuel pipe. When hot it kinked and prevented fuel flowing but stiffened up again as it cooled. Maybe worth a look.
