The 2012 Dave Harris Award
 

We had decided on the recipient of the Dave Harris 2012 award sometime ago, but had been waiting for that person to attend a Desmo Due round

So this weekend at Snetterton we finally got to award the trophy and it was a pleasure to award it to Neal Catling for his contribution to the Desmo Due series.

Neal was always a front runner in Class B, but gave up racing a couple of years ago after getting injured in a crash at Cadwell park.

Since then he organised a Novice Championship in 2011 and 2012, furnishing the top 3 with end of year trophies.

Added to this the fact that last year he traveled back up to Bangor and stayed there until they released Matt Lawson from Hospital and then transported him home

Well deserved Neal, it's always great to have you around the DD paddock
