High Level Exhaust Systems For Desmo Due racers

I know a company that has just started up in Nottingham that will make a high level system for your racing monster at a fraction of the price you would pay for a named system & will do repairs on cans etc. All he needs to start with is an existing high level system to get the dimensions from or a bike so that he can tailor a system for it. Company is J.A.C, 0115 9635556, 07812191122, guys name is Wayne Jackson, he used to design & make systems for a leading aftermarket manufacturer. Attatched image is a system he made for my R6 before I got my 748.

I don't think these would be allowable under the rules?

i thought exhausts were free???

Just had a quick look at the rules & it says that exhausts can be modified, standard monster cans ground out before anything else. Buying an off the shelf high level system costs in excess of £500, just trying to help our lads & lasses out as even racing on the cheap is expensive.

(Exhaust pipes and mufflers can be modified or changed)

Ok, just wondering like!

We are looking at having a single side system made ,it will exit on the left side and be high level.
We are talking to the guy that makes the exhausts for the Imola replica's and they could be made in stainless or mild steel.
Having talked to Chris Bushell he thought this is the kind of information we should share amongst the Due racers.

Keep them coming Chris, when racing the cheaper the better when it comes to parts.
Of the previous contacts you have given me for the ZXR bits whats the chance of them doing bellypans and rearsets for 600SS's and Monsters.
I hope to make my own rearsets when I get a bike and hopefully be able to offer some to others, nothing flash just basic race kit IF THEY ARE ALLOWED not quite clear on the rules for rearsets.

I have art race cans low level on my monster. They have been fantastic and the bike likes them as along with the dynojet and open air box it can breathe freely.
You are right - it is the first thing to hit ground - but take a monster and lean it over at a standstill- I think most would be surprised just how far it goes over before the cans hit the deck.
However add the weight of a rider and rensports then high levels are a must for the faster riders.
