I have booked flights to Bari, well who wouldn't at only 45pence each way!

Thing is, can anyone recommend accommodation?
Can I hire a bike there?

Bari has a reputation as a drug and crime centre - this means a high rate of petty crime.

Don't overdo the paranoia but be particulary careful when visiting the historic centre of Bari Vecchia.

Again according to LP: There are several reasonably priced places in Bari. They recommend that if you want to stay in a hotel it's best to pay a little extra for security and suggest Albergo Romero or Hotel Adria, Albergo Moderano or best of all Grand Hotel d'Oreinte Let me know if you require telephone numbers.

Motorcycle hire is available - ask at the tourist centre at Via Bozzi 45.

Was told last night there is a big Ducati dealer in Bari.....maybe I can hire a Monster!
