RC Job Vacancy

Requirements

Qualified rule writer (anybody involved with the original rules that thought a Carb'd 675 would compete with a 620 need not apply)
Good Technical Understanding of Ducati Motorcycles
Good Understanding of the History of the Desmo Due Series
Thick Skin (As I see it this is where I fail)
A degree of fairness in decision making
Ability to work well with others (Most importantly Trudi)
Must be able to do a better job than the previous occupant of this post so as to keep everybody happy

Hours of work
You will be surprised

Rewards
Very little unless you count winging

Bonuses
None that I know of.

Now who should we have on the interview panel

Cranker V2 01-May-2012 21:40

Sorry to see you leave this postion Kev. Whoever steps in will have big boots to fill. You've been a great bonus to the DSC desmodue management team and to bikesport in general. I guess we will see you on track and in the Scrutineers shed for years to come.

Rather than jack it (if you enjoy it still other than the winging) maybe a slight restructure would work; have someone else field the **** and you do the techy side

And agree with Chris, you've had a go which is more than most

You can't keep all the people happy all the time. We all like whinging but when it comes down to it you have done a damn good job.

So why did I wake up yesterday morning to a post on facebook saying and I quote

"but yes i think the rules do need looking at and have less open to interpretation with someone qualified to rewrite them! "

Obviously not doing a good enough job dispite the amount of hours put in over the years

bradders 01-May-2012 23:23

Ignore them

Senna3 01-May-2012 23:25

kev i know all the hard work and the hours of research you put into it m8 why dont you do the tech stuff let me handle all the **** stuff im thick skinned and got a good right hook as you know ill bang there heads togeather and sort them out

buggsysps 01-May-2012 23:40

Far be it for me to say but iv'e been following dd for a few years now and reading posts on this site and it suprise's me that what kev & trudi do to keep dd up and running in there own time is huge. Over the winter everybody has redeveloped there bike's and they are all great but poor kev has took a slaughtering over what's aloud why can't you do it this way and i'm suprised he has lasted this long. Come on guys some of you have forgoten the fun bit. Welldone skids I couldn't have lasted aslong as you have and I dont see a que of people wanting to take your place. Well thats my thoughts anyway:-)
