now this is gorgeous...

looking at the size of that oil cooler I would say that the 1000DS engine is somewhat tuned. And no cats!!!

Nigel C 12-Sep-2004 22:45

now that makes even the Multistrudel look pretty :o

theres just too much going on as result it looks awful there are no lines to pick out it's all angular and bitty .
(i've heard that before somewhere something to do with the 999 i think :o )

Very nice except for the lower half of the fairing

DJ Tera 12-Sep-2004 23:21

I think it might be due to the mushrooms but that top fairing looks like a rabbit to me :alien:

kwikbitch 12-Sep-2004 23:48

seen the pics already...on this thread.
Yeah You're right DJ...the rabbit from "Donny darko".
I like it though...as I like the derbiGPR 50.:D

I will wait until I see it 'in the metal' before I make up my mind. If it's as light as it should be and with Bimota's usual attention to detail it should be a belting bike though.

I like the lightweight aircooled concept, not convinced about the looks though, except I do like the logical extension of having a trellis frame carried through to the swingarm.

Although I'm not wild about the looks though, I would prefer a bike that looked a bit cack but went and handled superbly than a bike that looked gorgeous but went and handled like cack.

Now,if you want aircooled sex, take a look at this NCR from WDW2004:)
