Spotted at work today in some notes...

Follow Up Creatinine Kinase and GGT req'd. Action desk to deal...


Doesn't sound too funny does it ??? but.....

The doctor had written the ' Follow Up Creatinine Kinase ' in full abbreviation form....

Didn't realise they were offered on the NHS now ! Maybe I need a prescription for some !!:P

I didn't understand why until I realised that "full abbreviation form" meant abbreviation form. Which means the Doc had actually written...

Actually, I don't think it's about patient notes at all. I reckon there's actually a nice little nurse about with the initials GGT and the doc fancies some action on the desk.

Not so much nuclear waste as human waste:
On a certain north west site there is an Analytical Laboratory which deals with blah blah blah (too boring to type).
Engineers, having a somewhat strained humour, abbreviated the Lab title on ALL of the design drawings to "Anal Lab".
Such fun.
