Hi, How tatty are the carbon tubes & how did you attach them to the airbox, am after some for my 998 track bike, also is there any damage to the alloy sub frame & will a standard undertray fit it. Cheers Aide |
I was to try and adapt the tubes to get them to fit but abandoned the project before I go to this. Getting a 1098 instead. - The catch for the airbox clips have been removed from the airtubes. So you would have to redo those from a sheet of Ally or Nylon riveted in. - On the underneath of one airtube it is becoming unglued at the front part. - this can be fixed with a bit of epoxy - one of the thread for the indicators is missing. The Alloy subframe has been repaired. It is about straight and undertray can be fixed to it no problem. In fact I had a Corse breather fitted to it so far. You have to push it in a little to fit to frame but you have to do this on a new one as well. cheers p |
