Ebay 748R.... Fishy

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=9919&item=24930544 77&rd=1

2002 748R... Track bike, no Ohlins, 3 spoke wheels, from the photo looks like a Bp subframe also... :puzzled:

Twinfan 07-Oct-2004 17:01

Strange. Could be an '01 MY bike which would explain the lack of Ohlins forks, but they should have had an Ohlins rear I think. 3 spoke wheels is very wrong.

Crashed/rebuilt by the look of it...

yep - very smelly!!!!!!!!!! - stolen recovered I reckon - a rebuild from the wheels up!!!

Ah, this is for sale by Mark Hoad who breaks Ducatis. I've bought a few bits off him in the past and he sells a lot on ebay now too.

He's probably sold all the trick bits off it and has put some spares on to get it complete and sell it whole.

can vouch that Mark Hoad sells a fair bit of Ducati stuff,
I think youl probably find mark is an honest enough seller, i have had discussions with him in the past regarding ducatis, where he has as far as i can tell been honest, and has always communicated eficently.

if your thinking of buying email him for the entire spec, and ask how come the bikes in this spec, ie not as standard. although Antonye is prob about right.
