Or Phone Richard at Harris Performance, about £90 for overhaul of seals oil etc and £60 odd quid for a spring last time I enquired, I get my springs else where fopr under £30 normally. |
Maxton and get them to do the forks at the same time! |
Mmmmmm, Im just about to get an Ohlins shock serviced as well. What is the weight range for a K tech spring with a number of 57-160-60? I am about 14 and a half to 15 stone when fully kitted up in my bike gear. Cheers, DC.:burn: |
Not sure but I think that means its a 160mm long spring rated at 6.0kg/mm which is very light if fitted to a 748/9** Probably about right for a 10 stone rider |

Oh bugger, Looks like I will be changing the spring then. And yes it is for a 748 but I have a single seat unit so no passengers. :burn: |
From what I recall the single seat 748/9** bikes came with either a 6.4kg/mm or a 6.5kg/mm spring with the Biposto getting a 7.5kg/mm Have you ever checked the loaded and unloaded sag to see how it compares to recommended settings. http://www.ohlins.com/pdf/07241-02.pdf page 5 |
Ohlins Always send mine to Alan at AJR racing never let me down. http://a.shirley.users.btopenworld.com/main_index.htm |
