Last time this year?
 

Yesterday....3 p.m.....The sun was shining, and I thought it's probably the last time this year.....

Never one to let the grass grow under my feet, I opened the garage, and backed out the red machine. A quick check on the petrol, and fire her up. Starts first time as always. I let her idle for a minute, then open her up and we're away, barely legal exhaust barking nicely.

A frantic half an hour later, I'm listening to the cooling down clicking of the engine as I wheel her back into the garage, the word "Mountfield" shining proudly on her side panel. See you again in the spring.....

David: you horror - now I'm feeling guilty I didnt do ours last w/end, and it will prob rain this w/end :(

- but if it doesnt rain - stuff doing the lawn - I'm off out on my bike!!!:D

As a reward I may be allowed out for a short while on Sunday, so I may try and get to Box Hill at least for a coffee if not a ride out.

Don't worry about the grass - it's biodegradeable, so if you leave it long enough it might disappear....

You could always say b*ll*cks to the grass for the rest of your life and buy a goat !!! ( not too sure where you would find a red one though:P )

Joking aside, ours needs doing too, you know your grass is too long when the birds don't come down any more ( cause they can't see over the top of the blades ! ):lol::lol::lol:
