cabon key protector
 

this might sound a bit daft but i have just bought one of those carbon key tank protectors i thought it might just stick straight on like the [ belly ] guard but it wont as the ignition switch is in the way ... please can anyone advise as to fitment ..remove switch or tank whats the easyest way in thanks :D

Unbolting the tank is probably the easiest, it only needs to move slightly to fit the guard. You may find the ignition barrel scrapes against it; I put a piece of stick-on carbon to protect it.

Be carefull mate once you start with the carbon it becomes addictive
