strange forks ????
 

my early 750ss has showa forks supposedly they 41mm GD031 Showas but when dismantling they do not appear to have showa internals as per parts list ????????!!!!!!!

In fact the internals appear more marzzochi style ????

I am confused

any ideas what type shoea forks they might be they work really well but one needs a new oil seal and both need fresh oil which I will use Rock oil 7.5w

Do they have SHOWA cast in to them on the lower leg

yes Showa GD 031 but internals are not same as parts lists

the fork body is defo Showa but according to my parts list the internals are marzzochi but I have put new bushes and seals and 7.5w oil in already .....i am only curious because the forks really work well anyway.
