Greetings from San Francisco and Vancouver

Hi everyone, here I am on my travels again, this time over the Atlantic. SF was fine, exciting city, didn't see Steve McQueen though. Some of these hills are mega steep, if you pulled the front too hard you'd be over the top in a moment on a bike. Quite the reverse on the way up where I reckon you'd have to be easy on the gas or the front would be over the top of your head.

Vancouver is beautiful and I want to live here. You can be on the slopes skiing within 20 minutes. Fabulous city.

Anyway, must get on with some work. My body clock is totally confused at the moment, so looking forward to getting some sleep on the plane.

Nice that you're still posting whilst miles away, WJB. Just your body clock that's confused, then? That's a vast improvement on your usual state when in the UK.

Been to Vancouver and San Francisco myself. Absolutely agree with your comments. Wouldn't want to be riding a bike in SF with them there tram lines , though. :o

Go down the coast south of Monterey and do it on a bike! Do it a couple of times fast. Then once more to enjoy the scenery. California does have something to offer bikers.
